Self-gripping U-channel sections, usually made of dense and durable EPDM rubber, internal steel wire, or segmented clip-on carrier, with excellent grip, can be securely installed on the edge of the panel or frame. It can protect sharp edges, provide a neat and beautiful appearance. The side strips extending from the base of the edge trim are flexible, high-density EPDM rubber covers. Unlike hollow bulbs, these flaps are solid or semi-solid, designed to bend and compress to the mating surface, effectively blocking water, dust, gas, and noise etc. The rubber flap seal is designed to move and flex when the sealing surface changes or moves slightly, maintaining contact and a secure seal in dynamic applications. |
