| Description | A P-shaped rubber seal, also commonly called a "P-profile seal," "P section seal," "bead profiles", "music note seals", or "P-strip," is an extruded rubber gasket with a unique cross-sectional shape that resembles the letter "P". P-shaped profiles are used in a variety of applications, especially for sealing doors and windows. When compressed, the bulbous portion creates a tight seal with the mating surface. The flat portion can be bonded, riveted, or designed to be inserted into a channel or groove. Rubber P extrusions are made from a variety of elastomeric materials, which can be selected based on the specific application requirements. EPDM is the most commonly used material due to its excellent weather resistance, water resistance, and wide temperature range. Our extruded EPDM rubber P seals are widely used for both indoor and outdoor applications, in severe weather conditions, and for general sealing purposes. We produce and supply a wide variety of custom rubber P-profiles that are versatile and suitable for various sealing applications and industries. Our P-profiles can be made from a variety of materials such as EPDM, silicone, neoprene, and TPE. Depending on your application environment requirements, the rubber compound formula can be customized to ensure the production of products that meet your specific requirements, including hollow profiles and solid profiles. |
