EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer) gaskets are a type of synthetic rubber sealing material commonly used in industrial applications. EPDM rubber material is known for its excellent resistance to weathering, ozone, and UV radiation, making EPDM rubber gaskets ideal for outdoor applications where exposure to the elements is a concern.  The EPDM gaskets are made of  EPDM rubber elastomer and have an impermeable surface which is ideal for use with most alkalines, ketones, and diluted acids, offering strong abrasion resistance. This material meets ASTM D-2000-2BA.

The most common grades available are commercial-grade EPDM (for general-purpose sealing applications), FDA-grade EPDM (for food and beverage applications), flame retardant EPDM, and high-temperature EPDM (for applications requiring resistance to extreme temperatures).
• Shape and size: EPDM gaskets can be custom-made in any shape or size to fit the specific requirements of the application. This includes standard shapes like O-rings, square gaskets, and rectangular gaskets, as well as custom shapes.
• Thickness: Custom any desired dimension and thickness as per your desire
• Durometer: EPDM gaskets hardness as per your application and project needs. EPDM gaskets are available in different durometers, ranging from soft (e.g., 40 Shore A) to hard (e.g., 90 Shore A).  
• Color: Selection and matching of different colors. While black is the most common color for EPDM gaskets, they can also be manufactured in other colors, such as white, gray, blue, and red. 
• Adhesive backing: EPDM gaskets can also be provided with adhesive backing for easier installation and improved sealing performance.
